Charleston, S.C. - The Citadel Bulldog's new wrestling mat will be dedicated in memory of Brian Ruff, Jr. on Dec. 4. The Bulldogs will hold a brief ceremony prior to their match against Ohio University.

The ceremony will begin at 6:50 p.m.in McAlister Field House followed by the first match of the evening set for 7 p.m. Brian Ruff, Jr. passed away on January 18, earlier this year.

The Ruff family, led by Hall of Famer Brian Ruff, Sr. (Class of 1977) and his wife Jody, held a fund-raising drive for the new wrestling mat in Brian's memory. Ruff was a member of Charlie Company. The Ruff family will be in attendance for the ceremony as well as members of Brian's company.
