Charleston, S.C. The Citadel's baseball game against Presbyterian on Friday, May 16 has been moved to 1 p.m. in order to avoid any potential inclement weather entering the South Carolina Lowcountry.
The Citadel and Presbyterian have met 13 times prior to this season with the Bulldogs winning all 13 contests. The last time the two teams met was in 1998.
The Bulldogs and Blue Hose are wrapping up the 2008 regular season with a three-game series at Riley Park beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday. The Citadel, with a 25-27 record and 12-15 mark in the Southern Conference, will play in the 2008 Bennett Hofford Family of Hotels Southern Conference Tournament starting on Tuesday, May 20 at 3:30 p.m. as the league's No. 8 seed.
Presbyterian, 13-37 in their first year of Division I competition, is ineligible for any postseason consideration due to their reclassification and will end their season on Saturday.
