Charleston, S.C. The Citadel Football team was back in action for day four of fall camp on Thursday morning at the Maybank Triplets practice field. The three-hour workout concluded with no reported injuries.
The Bulldogs worked through several scenarios in the three-hour morning workout that kicked off 8 a.m.
According to Bulldog Head Coach Kevin Higgins, the players worked hard on understanding their assignments and had great concentration throughout the practice.
“We worked several team periods. We worked a second and long scenario, trying to get our guys accustomed to the change and getting positive yards,” Higgins added. “We also worked on extending the run segment. We must improve on our perimeter blocking.”
The Bulldogs will return to the Maybank Triplets practice field in full pads on Friday at 8 a.m. for another 3-hour workout. They will have their first two-a-day on Saturday at 8 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., followed by the annual Media Day on Sunday at Johnson Hagood Stadium at 1 p.m.
