Charleston, S.C. - Sophomore Bree Baumgartner leads The Citadel Golf team, that wrapped up day two in 18th place at the Palmetto Intercollegiate in Kiawah Island, S.C. with a team score of 340 (+88). The three round event, hosted by the College of Charleston, includes 18 teams at the Oak Point Country Club.
Individually, Baumgartner completed second round scoring with an 80, putting her at 158 (+21). Maryland's Jessie Hollandsworth (137, -7) leapfrogged East Tennessee State's Nina Muehl (143, -3) to assume control of the leaderboard. East Tennessee State maintained their lead from day one, by three strokes, over Maryland. Campbell University moves into third place, with a 591, trailing by eight shots.
Alanna-Jean Keith sits in second on The Citadel team, with a 158. Sheri Rockefeller, with a second round 89, sits in third with a 175. Teammates Christine Clark (176) and Natalie Flores (180) round out remaining Bulldogs scores.
