Charleston, S.C. The Citadel Athletics Department released the game times for all home games for the 2009 Bulldog Football season on Monday.

The Bulldogs' home-opener against Presbyterian on Sept. 26 will be the only night game of the season. Kickoff against the Blue Hose is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Johnson Hagood Stadium. Matchups against Appalachian State on Oct. 3 and Samford on Oct. 31 will kickoff at 1 p.m., while Parents Day against Furman on Oct. 24 and the Homecoming matchup against Wofford on Nov. 7 will have their normal 2 p.m. kickoffs.  

The 2009 slate consists of 11 games, five at home and six on the road. After opening the season at UNC, the Bulldogs will have a week off before traveling to Princeton on Sept. 19. Southern Conference action will kickoff on Oct. 3 when the Bulldogs host Appalachian State, followed by back-to-back road trips to Elon and Western Carolina on Nov. 10 and 17, respectively. The Citadel will then wrap-up the 2009 regular season on the road at Chattanooga on Nov. 14 and Georgia Southern on Nov. 21 in Statesboro, Ga. 

The official game times for the road games have not been set; however Bulldog fans can go to the official website of The Citadel Athletics, www.CitadelSports.com, for further information on Bulldog Football and the release of game times as they become available.
