Greensboro, N.C. Redshirt senior Jamel Brown ran a time of 52.75 to finish 15th overall in the prelims of the 400m hurdles at the 2009 NCAA East Regional in Greensboro, N.C., on Friday.

Brown improved his 2008 regional time of 54.47 and placed higher than in 2008. This is Brown's second NCAA East Regional appearance and the fourth consecutive season that a Bulldog athlete has qualified for the NCAA Regionals. This is also his last appearance as a Citadel athlete earning two Southern Conference championships and breaking several school records.
