Charleston, S.C. - The Citadel Golf team will compete in the Wendy's Invitational hosted by Charleston Southern University next week, Oct 19-20 in Charleston, S.C. The meet will be the Bulldogs' fourth tournament as they approach the culmination of the 2010 fall season.

Junior Alanna-Jean Keith and freshman Erica Pellegrini hope to lead the Bulldogs as they look to improve on last weekend's performance at Winthrop Intercollegiate in Rock Hill, S.C. The team recorded a seventh place finish with a total of 634 (+58).

The Bulldogs will be one of the 15 teams participating in next week's competition which include Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, Armstrong Atlantic, Carson Newman, South Carolina State and Presbyterian College.

The Wendy's Invitational is one the closer tournaments for the Bulldogs. In the 2009 season the cadets recorded a team score of 697 (+129) and finished 15th overall.
