Spartanburg, S.C. - Bulldog track athlete Kevin Hardy was selected as the Southern Conference Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week for all meets Feb. 12-13. The selections are made by the league's track and field coaches.
A native of Ocala, Fla., Hardy recorded a preliminary time of 6.96 seconds to advance to the finals of the 60m dash at the Gene Anderson UNC Invitational. In the finals, he posted a personal-best time of 6.95 seconds to finish ninth overall. Hardy currently leads the conference in the 60m dash and owns the fourth fastest time in school history. Hardy also jumped an indoor season-best mark of 23' 6.25" in the long jump for fourth place.
