Charleston, S.C. - The Citadel rifle team will conclude the 2009-10 season as they compete in the Southeastern Air Rifle Conference (SEARC) Championships Saturday, Feb. 27 in Anniston, Ala.

The last time rifle was in action, the Bulldogs welcomed Alumni to the Inouye Hall Marksmanship Center on The Citadel's campus for the Alumni Match. Prior to the return of the former Bulldogs, The Citadel competed in the SEARC 6 and NCAA competition. The Cadets finished second behind North Carolina State in the SEARC 6, while the Bulldog men placed third and the women fourth in the NCAA competition behind Columbus State and NC State in first and second, respectively.

At last season's SEARC Championships, while hosting the competition, The Citadel registered a second place finish and was also named second overall in the conference for the season.
