Charleston, S.C. - The Citadel track and field will participate in The Military Track and Field Championships on Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27 in Lexington, Va. at Foster Stadium. This meet is hosted by VMI and the Bulldogs will be joined by Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, U.S. Merchant Academy and Navy with Friday events beginning at noon.

This is the second time that The Citadel has competed in this event. The first was during the competition's inaugural season back in 2007 in Lexington when the men's and women's team each finished fourth. Former Bulldog Stephanie McNeill highlighted the day when she qualified for the NCAA East Regional in the shot put and set the school record in the hammer, which she still holds today. McNeill later that year became a SoCon champion in the hammer.
