Charleston, S.C. - The Citadel baseball team announced Monday that they will add a game against the Winthrop Eagles to the 2010 schedule. The game is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 18 at 6 p.m. at the Winthrop Ballpark in Rock Hill, S.C.

The game will be a make-up date for the game on Feb. 22 against Kansas State that was rained out.

It will mark the third meeting between the schools this season, with the Bulldogs claiming the first two games of 2010. On March 24 at Riley Park in Charleston, the Bulldogs downed the Eagles, 7-3. In the return meeting in Rock Hill on April 7, The Citadel prevailed over Winthrop, 10-8, in 11 innings.

The Bulldogs return to the diamond on Tuesday night when they face the College of Charleston at 6 p.m. at Riley Park. Stay current on Bulldog baseball at CitadelSports.com.
