Charleston, S.C. - The Citadel's Bryan Altman has been named one of CollegeBaseball360.com's Primetime Performers for his performance in last weekend's series at College of Charleston.
Altman batted .455 (5-for-11) against the Cougars with a pair of doubles, a two-run homer and six RBI. On Sunday, the second baseman hit a bases-clearing double in the eighth inning to give the Bulldogs a 4-3 lead as The Citadel went on for a comeback 6-3 win over College of Charleston.
The redshirt senior has hit safely in 22 of 24 conference games this season and is hitting at a .464 clip in SoCon games, second-best mark in the league. Altman has hit 10 of his 11 homers this season in league contests and has tallied 10 doubles, 34 RBI, 33 runs and 85 total bases in those games.
