CHARLESTON, SC - New at Johnson Hagood Stadium for the 2010 football season will be a Kids Zone that opens two hours prior to kickoff.

Stationed at the northwest corner of the revitalized facility (adjacent to the bronze bulldog) that rests on the corner of Hagood Avenue and Congress Street, the Kids Zone features several inflatable stations and a face-painter.

The new Kids Zone makes its debut on Saturday, Sept. 4, prior to the Bulldogs' home opener against Chowan University with kickoff slated for 1 pm.  The zone opens at 11 am and will close down as the game begins, and will be part of The Citadel's pregame fun and pageantry at all home games this season.

There is no admission charge to the Kids Zone.
