CHARLESTON, S.C. – If you've ever had a desire to work as the public address announcer for The Citadel home basketball games, then we want to hear you!

After 27 years of serving as the PA announcer for The Citadel Athletics, Sam Evans is retiring his microphone and the Bulldogs are seeking a new voice.

Whether you have a trained voice or simply show enthusiasm, we want to see and hear if you have what it takes to be the new voice inside McAlister Field House.

The Bulldogs have 14 home games during the 2011-12 season.

Open tryouts are scheduled for Monday, October 24th at 7:00 p.m.  at McAlister Field House.  Applicants will have the opportunity to test their voice and excitement with introductions and script reading.
