The Citadel's Football Game at South Carolina Set for Noon

Charleston, S.C. – The Citadel's final regular season game of the 2011 football season at South Carolina has been set for noon at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.

All of the game times for the upcoming season have now been set. The contest with the Gamecocks will be televised on a pay-per-view basis throughout the state of South Carolina.

In a series that dates back to 1905, The Citadel and South Carolina have not met since 1990 when the Bulldogs stunned the Gamecocks. Quarterback Jack Douglas scored the game-winning touchdown with 22 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to give The Citadel the victory at Williams-Brice Stadium, 38-35.

The Bulldogs will return for fall camp on Aug. 4 and the first game of the 2011 season will take place on Sept. 3 against Jacksonville at Johnson Hagood Stadium.
