Gainesville, Fla. – Andriana Love heaved the javelin a personal-best 118'12" to finish in 13th place at the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Fla. The mark places her fifth all-time in Citadel history.
Quintin Turner also captured a season-best in the discus recording a mark of 155'2" while Austin Waldrop posted a time of 15:38 in the 5,000.
In the relays, the women's 4x200 team of Tanisha Bethel, Alexandria Moss, Francesca McCrary and Vanessa Hope missed the school record by .09 seconds, recording a mark of 1:45.89.
The men and women sprint medley relays both posted top 10 times. The men's team of Daniel Till, Blane Woodfin, Jamaal Brantley and Jordan Ashley finished with a time of 3:30 (eighth all-time) while the women's team of Bethel, Moss, McKee and Wessinger recorded a mark of 4:10 (second all-time).
The Bulldogs will head to Conway, S.C., next weekend for the Chanticleer Classic on April 14 as a final tune up for the Southern Conference Championships on April 21-22 in Cullowhee, N.C.
