Charleston, S.C. – The Citadel wrestling team will trek across the country to conclude the 2013 portion of the 2013-14 schedule at the 32nd-Annual Cliff Keen Wrestling Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Las Vegas, Nev., at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Citadel is returning to the Cliff Keen Invitational for the first time since 2006. Thirty-three teams, including 12 in this week's InterMat Top 25, will begin action on Friday at noon (ET) with championship and consolation pigtail rounds, two championship rounds and one consolation round. Quarterfinals will be held at 9 p.m. along with the second and third round of consolations.
Two weeks ago, Bulldog senior Turtogtokh Luvsandorj, who is ranked 15th nationally by InterMat Wrestling, took the 174-pound title at the Navy Classic. Joaquin Marquez took third place in the 125-pound division and Marshall Haas earned sixth at 197 to help lead the Bulldogs to a 10th-place finish.
