Fairbanks, Alaska –Ninth-ranked Ohio State produced the top five air rifle and smallbore shooters to earn the win over the Bulldog rifle team on Sunday at the E.F. Horton Rifle Range in Fairbanks, Alaska.
The match dropped the Bulldogs' dual record to 2-2 while the Buckeyes improved to 5-3 on the season.
Robert Jackson led the Bulldog marksmen in air rifle with a score of 574 while Nathaniel Moy carded a 558 in smallbore to earn the top spot for his team.
Richard Hunton (564), Moy (562) and Teddi Haliscak (557) rounded out the top four scorers for the Bulldogs in air rifle. Hunton (548), Charles Yeh (544) and Jackson (540) posted the team's top smallbore scores.
Ohio State's Amanda Luoma took the individual air rifle crown with a score of 594 while Luoma and teammate Anthony Cuozza fired match-high smallbore marks of 583 to help lead the Buckeye marksmen.
