Citadel Basketball Notes

Charleston, S.C. — The Citadel basketball team returns to McAlister Field House on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. when it hosts Upstate rival Wofford.
 
The clash between the Bulldogs and Terriers will give The Citadel an opportunity to avenge a 79-75 overtime loss suffered last month in Spartanburg.

A victory by the Cadets (4-21, 0-11 SoCon) would also mark the first time that they have beaten Wofford in consecutive years at home since the 2000-01 and 2001-02 seasons. The Bulldogs defeated the Terriers 69-63 at McAlister Field House a year ago.

Wofford (12-10, 7-3), who currently ranks third in the SoCon, has won five straight contests since a 71-60 victory against Western Carolina. The Terriers are led by the scoring trio of Karl Cochran (15.2 ppg), Spencer Collins (14.2) and Lee Skinner (10.8).
