Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate Results
Morganton, N.C. – Sophomore Eraina Manor fired a 22-over 166 and finished in a tie for 41st while leading The Citadel golf team to an 11th place showing at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate.
Manor fired a pair of 83s to place herself alongside Libby Crawford (Presbyterian).
Erica Pellegrini (87-85—172) posted the second-best score (+28) for the Bulldogs as she finished tied for 56th overall.
The Citadel also got a solid outing from freshman Renata Sucha who finished with a 174 (+30) after back-to-back rounds of 87.
Kellie Anderson (89-87—176; +32) and McKenzie Duncan (91-89—180; +36) completed the card for the Cadets.
As a team The Citadel fired a 688 (+112) to finish ahead of Quinnipiac, Sandhills Community College and South Carolina State.
High Point emerged as the champion of the 14-team field with a 610 (+34). The individual crown went to the Panthers' Grier Bennett (77-73—150; +6), who edged teammate Sarah Bae and Patrizia Trevisan (Bethune-Cookman) by two shots.
The Dogs complete their season at the Southern Conference Tournament in Hilton Head, S.C., at the Moss Creek Country Club beginning on April 13.
