2014 Citadel Volleyball Schedule

Charleston, S.C. – Citadel volleyball head coach Amir Khaledi released his team's 2014 schedule on Monday, a slate which features 14 home matches and four in-season tournaments that include the season-opener at Navy on Aug. 29.

The two-day event begins when the Bulldogs square off with first-time Southern Utah before taking on Providence and host Midships.

On Sept. 2, The Citadel makes its first appearance at McAlister Field House as it gives Bulldog fans a preview of the 2014 season at the annual Blue-White scrimmage.

Three days later the Bulldogs serve as the host to North Carolina A&T (Sept. 5), Stetson (Sept. 6) and Charleston Southern (Sept. 6) at the second annual Citadel Tournament.

The Cadets return to the road the following weekend at Alabama State where they are slated to meet Alabama State, Towson and Southeast Missouri in Mobile, Ala.

After a meeting with in-state rival South Carolina State on Sept. 16, The Citadel heads to its final in-season tournament on Sept. 19-20 at South Carolina. While in Columbia, the Bulldogs meet Eastern Kentucky, Norfolk State and the host Gamecocks.

The Citadel closes out September with a pair of Southern Conference matches against newcomer Mercer (Sept. 26) and Wofford (Sept. 27).

The Bulldogs host eight home contests over the remainder of the season including a Dig Pink match with Savannah State (Oct. 7) and senior night match with SoCon foe East Tennessee State (Nov. 14).
