GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Citadel men's and women's cross country teams both completed action at the Southern Conference championships on Saturday in Greenville, South Carolina.

In the men's race, which began at 10 a.m., Michael Lantz finished with a time of 26:15.93 and was followed by Jamie Cunningham who clocked a time of 26:30.05. Ross Jordan finished 56th out of 82 runners with a time of 26:57.68. Grant Smith (27:04.57) and Matthew Gill (27:08.59) rounded out the top-five runners for the Bulldogs.

The women's race followed at 10:45 a.m. and Grace Jenkins took the top time for The Citadel, finishing with a time of 20:13.79. The time was the second-fastest of the year for the sophomore. Emani Little was the next fastest Bulldog, clocking a time of 20:43.62. Jessica DeWitte finished 56th out of 73 runners, crossing the finish line at 20:54.94. Bethany Reeves (21:06.94) and Elizabeth Webster (21:14.74) were the next two Bulldogs to finish.

The championship portion of the season continues at the NCAA Southeast Regional on November 13th in Charlottesville, Virginia.
