Bulldogs Close Out Season at SoCon Championships

MEET RESULTS
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Citadel cross country teams finished their season at the Southern Conference Championships on Friday morning.
The men's team placed ninth for the first time since 2013 with 221 points, but were just one point behind eighth place UNCG and three points back of Wofford for sixth place.
Ross Jordan complete his cross country career breaking 25 minutes for the first time, placing 20th in a time of 24:59.58 to lead the Bulldogs. Jaime Cunningham also posted a personal best time of 25:25.54 to place 33rd.
Despite an injury, Michael Lantz placed 43rd in a gritty performance, crossing the finish line in 25:43.62. Matt Gill placed 74th in 27:02.21 and Alex Cothran took 76th place in 27:06.79 to round out the scoring for the Bulldogs.
Caillian Colquitt led the women's team with a 33rd place finish, crossing the finish line in her fastest time of the season in 18:38.28. Grace Jenkins took placed 51st for the Bulldogs, setting a new personal best of 19:10.17.
Dana Duggan and Jordan Neeley placed 69th and 70th, respectively, while Daniela Sanchez-Martinez took 76th to finish the scoring for the Bulldogs.
