CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel wrestling team will travel to Springfield, Illinois, for make-up matches against Northern Illinois and Southern Conference opponent SIU-Edwardsville on Saturday, Jan. 13.
 
Most recently, the Bulldogs (1-4) competed in the Chattanooga-hosted Southern Scuffle where senior Ty Buckiso led the team with three wins in the 149-pound weight class on day one, including an impressive victory over top-ranked Penn State's Bo Pipher. Buckiso continued into the quarterfinal round and fell to fifth-ranked Sam Krivus from Virginia by technical fall.
 
The Bulldogs will face the NIU Huskies (0-4) at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday before kicking off conference play against the SIUE Cougars (2-7) at 6:00 p.m. at the Bank of Springfield Center. Live stats and full results for both matches will be available at CitadelSports.com.
