Bulldogs Wrap Up Charleston Invitational with 17th-Place Finish

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. - The Citadel wrapped up competition in the Charleston Invitational hosted by Charleston Southern. The Bulldogs finished in 17th place with a final score of 1,061.
Sophomore Andrea Hoos paced the Bulldogs with an 85th-place finish, scoring a team low 83 in the first round. Ashlee Richardson finished just four shots back from Hoos while posting a second-round score of 89.
"We had a few setbacks that struck us at the beginning of this weekend but we are looking forward to having a week off to prepare for the SoCon Championships in Hilton Head," said head coach Lori Bonacci.
Coastal Carolina soundly took first place with a final team score of 855 (-9) followed by runner-up Campbell (+6).
Individually, Coastal Carolina's Malene Krolboll Hansen and Frantiska Lunackova ended tied after each shooting 3 under par through 54 holes. Hansen was determined the champion following the scorecard playoff.

The Bulldogs will return to action on April 14-17 as they participate in the SoCon Championships in Hilton Head, S.C.
