Meet The Bulldogs Set for Saturday

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel will host its annual Meet the Bulldogs on Saturday, Aug. 25 inside Johnson Hagood Stadium. The event, which is free and open to the public, is set to begin at 10 a.m. and is sponsored by Pepsi, Live 5 and Ashley Furniture.
The event features an opportunity for fans to meet and get autographs from cadet-athletes and coaches from The Citadel's football, soccer and cross country programs. The two-hour event also gives fans an opportunity for activity stations on the field, Pepsi product giveaways, photo opportunities, face painting and playing in the jump castle.
The event is part of a busy weekend that includes the soccer team hosting Francis Marion Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. at WLI Field.
The cross county teams open their schedule Sept. 1 at the Charleston Southern Buccaneer Open.
The football team will open the 2018 season Sept. 1 at Wofford at 6 p.m. The home opener is set for Sept. 8 at 6 p.m. against Chattanooga.
CITADEL FOOTBALL TICKETS: Tickets for the 2018 season can be purchased by calling The Citadel Athletic Ticket Office at 843-953-DOGS. Single games tickets can be purchased by going online to citadelsports.com/tickets, by phone, or in person at the box office located in McAlister Field House (Mon.-Fri. / 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.).
