RESULTS

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel mixed rifle team defeated Georgia Southern, 4596-4506, for the second consecutive week at the Inouye Marksmanship Center. The Bulldog women's team finished third with a total of 3753.
 
Emily Perkins posted the top aggregate score with an 1158, just narrowly beating out teammate Charlotte Welsh (1153). Cameron Bates shot an 1146 to secure the top three spots for the Bulldog mixed team.
 
Welsh posted the top score in the air rifle, shooting a 588. She just narrowly beat out Perkins who shot a 583.
 
The Bulldogs took the top four spots in smallbore with Perkins leading the way at 575. She was followed by Bates (567), Welsh (565) and Max Brabston (564).
 
THREE-POSITION SMALLBORE

• The day started with three-position smallbore where the Bulldogs mixed team shot a season-high 2271. GS finished second with a 2209 and the Bulldog women's team placed third at 1582.
• Perkins put up strong scores in all three positions, including registering a 100 in the prone position.
• Perkins was the top performer in smallbore with a 575.
• Bates finished in second place in smallbore with a score of 567.
• Welsh put together a strong day in the three positions to post a 565.
• She just narrowly nudged team Brabston who finished with a 564.
• Riley Neiders was the top performer for the women's team with a score of 541.

 
AIR RIFLE

• Welsh took home the top score in air rifle by shooting 588.
• Perkins was second with a 583, followed by Bates in fourth with a 579.
• Brabston shot a 575 to finish sixth, while Brandon Oerman matched Brabston with a575 of his own.
• Demi Perez was the top finisher for the women's team, finishing 14^th with a score of 558.
