CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel wrestling dropped a tough 22-14 decision Friday evening to Southeastern inside McAlister Field House.

How It Happened
- The match got off to an exciting start at 125 pounds. White trailed 8-5 in the final minute before getting a takedown to pull within one. Back-to-back reversals kept the match at one point, but White was not able to complete the comeback.
- The Bulldogs got on the board at 133 pounds after Rotunda jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead. After giving up a pair of points, Rotunda came back with two more takedowns one his way to the major decision victory
- The Bulldogs got their second major decision victory at 149 points as Porter overcame a slow start to score nine points in the third period in a 12-0 victory.
- Casto won his second match this season as he used an early takedown to jump out to a 2-0 lead. He would control the match the rest of the way en route to the 7-4 victory.
- The Bulldogs closed out the match with another hard-fought victory from McAleavey. He used a takedown in the second period to help make it a 2-2 match going into the final two minutes. He was able to get an escape in the final minute and avoid any takedowns for the 3-2 victory.
