RESULTS 

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The 22^nd-ranked Citadel mixed rifle team and the 27^th-ranked women's team went on the road Saturday and competed against the No. 18 North Georgia Nighthawks.

The Nighthawks took the match with an aggregate score of 4579 with the Bulldog mixed team notching an aggregate score of 4525. The Citadel women finished the day with an aggregate score of 4189.

The Nighthawks swept the top three spots in aggregate scoring led by Kimberlee Nettles' 1161. The Bulldogs took the next three spots, including junior Max Brabston in fourth (1138), senior Alexander McAlear fifth (1138) and freshman Cameron Bates sixth (1137).

THREE-POSITION SMALLBORE

• Brabston was the highest-finishing Bulldog in three-position smallbore with a fourth-place 562.
• McAlear finished fifth in the day's first gun with a 561, just beating out Bates on a tiebreaker.
• Jack Wittman was the Bulldogs' third leading scorer in smallbore with a 553 (eighth), while Emily Perkins finished 11^th with a 549.
• For the women's team, senior Tierra Price led the charge with a 527, while freshman Demi Perez shot a 513.
• Sophomore Megan Waters ended her smallbore round with a 512, and freshman Taylor Swiger shot a 505.

AIR RIFLE

• In air rifle, McAlear led the way with a third-place 577, just one point and two positions ahead of Brabston's 576.
• Bates also ended his 60 shots in air rifle with a sixth-place 576.
• Price had one of her best showings in air rifle, leading the women with a ninth-place 562.
• Brandon Oerman finished 10^th with a 559, and Perkins rounded out the Bulldogs' scoring five with a 558 in 12^th.
• Perez was second on the women's side with a 541, Waters finished third on the team with a 537 and Swiger wrapped up her day with a 492.

COMING UP
The Bulldogs will next travel to Spartanburg to take on Wofford on Saturday, Feb. 8. Following the match with the Terriers, the 'Dogs will host an NCAA qualifying match Saturday, Feb. 22 – Sunday, Feb. 23.
