As we reflect back on the events in Minneapolis that led to the death of George Floyd and the tremendous pain, anxiety and sadness it has created across this nation, it only renews our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
 
Our mission is to strive to produce graduates who have insight into issues, ideas, and values that are of importance to society. In the Department of Athletics, we hold steadfast in our core values of Honor, Duty and Respect.
 
We acknowledge that racism and discrimination exist and we hurt for those who have experienced racial discrimination or violence. We will do our part to educate our staff and cadets, and continue to love and care for one another as we work towards a unified path through this.
 
Together we stand against all forms of racism, violence, discrimination, prejudice and injustice.
