CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel Head Coach
Ryan LeBlanc announced the Bulldogs' 2021-22 schedule on Monday. The schedule features four tournaments, including The Citadel Open inside McAlister Field House.
The Bulldogs open the season on Nov. 3 as they host Queens University. On Nov. 6, The Citadel will host The Citadel Open inside McAlister Field House.
The Citadel will takes its action outdoors on Nov. 13 as the Bulldogs will face Presbyterian on the turf at Summerville High School's John McKissick Field.
The month of November closes with a trip to the Navy Classic on Nov. 20, while December opens with the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Collegiate Wrestling Invitational on Dec. 3-4. The Bulldogs final matches of 2021 come on Dec. 19 when The Citadel faces Duke and Bloomsburg in Durham, North Carolina.
The Bulldogs ring in the near year in Chattanooga, Tennessee at the Southern Scuffle on Jan. 1-2.
Southern Conference action starts on Jan. 7 as the Bulldogs travel to face App State. After a non-conference match against Franklin on Marshall on Jan. 14, The Citadel takes on Campbell on Jan. 23 in Buies Creek, North Carolina.
The Bulldogs return home for five of their final six matches. The stretch begins with a pair of home matches on Jan. 30. The Citadel will take on Davidson and LIU Post. After a road match at Chattanooga on Feb. 4, the Bulldogs close out the regular season with home matches against Gardner-Webb (Feb. 11), Bellarmine (Feb. 13) and VMI (Feb. 20).
The SoCon Championships will be held on March 5 in Boone, North Carolina. The NCAA Championships will take place March 17-19 in Detroit.
