CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel mixed rifle team shot at the Inouye Marksmanship Center Sunday morning, falling 4,736-4,593, to Alaska Fairbanks.
 
Charlotte Welsh led the Bulldogs with an aggregate score of 1,152. She was followed closely by James Hart at 1,150 and Emily Perkins at 1,149.
 
Smallbore Results

• The Bulldogs finished with a score of 2,256 in smallbore.
• James Hart led the way with a score of 570, finishing seventh.
• Charlotte Welsh was just behind Hart with a score of 566.
• Emily Perkins rounded out the Top 10 with a score of 565.
• The mark was equaled by Cameron Bates.
• Jack Wittman shot a 557 and Daniel Shapiro shot 526.

 
Air Rifle Results

• The Bulldogs finished with a score of 2,327.
• Welsh led the way with a six-place finish with a score of 586.
• Perkins was right behind with a score of 584.
• Hart was third for the Bulldogs with a score of 580, followed by Bates at 577.
• Wittman (559) and Shapiro (535) rounded out the scoring.
