CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel rifle team came up just short Saturday morning as the Bulldogs fell, 4621-4615, to North Georgia inside the Inouye Marksmanship Center. The women's team finished with a score of 4364.
Charlotte Welsh took home top individual honors with an aggregate score of 1,170.
Riley Neiders was the top finisher for the women's team with an aggregate 1,139.
Smallbore Results
- The Bulldogs finished with a score of 2,285.
- Charlotte Welsh shot a 583 to shoot the highest score in smallbore.
- Jack Wittman finished four with a score of 571.
- Cameron Bates placed sixth with a score of 567.
- He was followed closely by James Hart with a score of 564.
- Riley Neider led the women's team with a score of 559.
Air Rifle Results
- Emily Perkins led the Bulldogs with a score of 588, finishing second.
- Welsh placed third with a score of 587.
- Hart was the third Bulldog finisher, shooting a 582 to place sixth.
- Neiders placed eighth with a score of 580 to lead the women's team.
