LEXINGTON, Va. – The Citadel mixed rifle team picked up a pair of victories on Saturday as the Bulldogs defeated Wofford (4608-3657) and VMI (4608-4552) inside Kilbourne hall on the VMI campus.
The Bulldogs took home the top four sports with
Charlotte Welsh leading the way with an aggregate total of 1165.
Jack Wittman was second with a score of 1152, followed by
Cameron Bates (1142) and
James Hart (1140).
Riley Neiders led the women's team with an aggregate score of 1119.
Smallbore Results
- The Bulldogs finished with a total of 2280. The women's team had a total of 2175.
- Charlotte Welsh led the way with a total of 577.
- She just narrowly beat out teammate Jack Wittman (576) for the top spot.
- Cameron Bates placed third with a score of 568.
- James Hart finished with a score of 560 to finish seventh.
- Riley Neiders led the women's team with a score of 555, placing 10th.
- She was followed by Deanna Douglas in 11th with a score of 553.
Air Rifle Results
- The Bulldogs finished with a score of 2328 in air rifle. The women's team shot a 2250 in the discipline.
- Welsh again led the way with a score of 588.
- Perkins finished second with a score of 583.
- Hart placed fourth with a score of 580.
- Wittman and Bates finished sixth and seventh with scores of 577 and 574, respectively.
- Demi Perez led the way for the women's team with a score of 568.
