Scores Improve on Final Day of Kiawah Island Classic

FINAL RESULTS

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The Citadel had three golfers shoot their lowest round of the tournament in the final day of the Kiawah Island Classic. The Bulldogs closed out the event on the Oak Point Course.

How It Happened

The Citadel finished 40^th with a three-round total of 973.
The Bulldogs shot a 328 on the final day of the event, their second-best round of the tournament.
Megan Ikeda shot her best round of the tournament with a final round 78.
Starting on the back nine, Ikeda birdied the par-4 16^th as part of a two-over par opening nine.
She followed it up by shooting four over par on the front nine, including a birdie at the par-5 fourth.
Mackenzie Battle continued her strong return as she fired a final-round 80 to finish in a tied for 92^nd.
Nadia Sandler shot her best round of the tournament with a final round 80. She joined Ikeda with a birdie on the par-5 fourth.
Paige Gilstrap ended the event with her tournament-best round of 86. She tied for the team lead with two birdies on the round.
She birdied the par-3 15h and then closed the tournament with a birdie on the par-3 ninth.
