LEXINGTON, Va. – The Citadel mixed rifle team finished fourth in smallbore at the 2021 Southern Conference championships in Lexington, Virginia. The Citadel women's team placed eighth.
The Bulldogs finished with a score of 2246, while the women's team finished with a 2,095.
How it Happened
- Cameron Bates led the team with a fourth-place finish with a total of 573.
- He finished with a 195 in the prone position and 192 standing.
- Emily Perkins was the second shooter for the Bulldogs, finishing with a 563.
- Charlotte Welsh finished 15th with a score of 559.
- Riley Neiders shot a 533 to pace the women's team.
- Demi Perez was the second-best shooter on the women's side with a523.
