CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel rifle squad open its season with a win at home Saturday against Wofford, besting their upstate guests 4604-4377 with five individual claiming the top five spots on the combined leaderboard. The women's team posted a 4,364 combined score.

• Cameron Bates won the overall leaderboard with a 1155 aggregate.
• Charlotte Welsh ranked second with 1154 points.
• James Hart ranked third with 1150 points.
• Carson Wood earned fourth with 1135 points.
• Riley Neiders was fifth with 1130 points.
• Demi Perez led the women's team in eighth with 1112 points.

• The Bulldogs opened the day with a 2292-2140 win in the smallbore, taking the top five individual spots.
• Cameron Bates took first with 576 points.
• Newcomer Carson Wood ranked second with 573 points.
• Charlotte Welsh continued her prowess with 572 points for third.
