How it Happened
- The match got off to a strong start as Selwyn Porter and RJ Mosley were locked in a tight battle. Neither wrestler was able to get any offense until Mosley secured a takedown in sudden victory.
- Exciting happened in the final minutes of the match at 174 as Ben Haubert got a late takedown to pull within two points, but was not able to secure the final takedown on his shot in the final seconds.
- Michael McAleavey got the Dogs on the board as he secured a pair of takedowns in the first period before being able to turn his opponent and secure the fall at 2:44.
- Ethan Willis found himself in another thrilling finish as his attempt at a last-second takedown came up just shy in a 6-5 loss.
- Dazjon Casto closed out the night with a convincing victory at 157 pounds. He got a quick takedown in the first period and rode out the second period on top. He was able to fight off any offense from his opponent to secure the victory.
