MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The Citadel women's golf team closed out the RiverTowne Invitational with its best round of the tournament. The Bulldogs shot a final round 313.

How It Happened

• The Bulldogs shot their best round of the tournament. They improved by 24 shots from their opening round.
• The Citadel completed its second round early in the day before completing the third round.
• Megan Ikeda continued to improve as the tournament progressed. She closed out the tournament with a second round 77 and final round 75.
• Her second round comprised of a pair of birdies on the front nine, while she finished with three birdies on the front nine in the final round.
• Paige Gilstrap and Sarah Smith each closed out the tournament with their best rounds. Both golfers finished with a 78.
• Mirabella Calabrase also shot her best round of the tournament in the final round, finishing with an 82.
• Lauren Sommerfeld closed out the tournament with three pars on the final four holes to shoot an 88.
