Dahlonega, Ga. – The Citadel rifle team won the smallbore competition, but fell, 4632-4611, at North Georgia on Saturday. The Citadel women's team finished third with a total of 4424.
 
James Hart finished second overall with an aggregate total of 1160. Charlotte Welsh finished fifth, with Cameron Bates placing sixth.
 
Smallbore Results

• The Bulldogs finished with a score of 2288, besting UNG by two points.
• James Hart finished second in the smallbore competition with a score of 579.
• Charlotte Welsh finished third with a score of 575.
• Cameron Bates rounded out the top five with a score of 571.
• Emma McCorkle was the top finisher for the women's team with a score of 546.
• She was followed closely by Deanna Douglass at 544.

 
Air Rifle Results

• The Bulldogs finished with a score of 2323.
• Aiden Malcolm led the Bulldogs with a fourth-place finish with a score of 583.
• Hart finished sixth with a score of 581, followed by Carson Wood in seventh at 580 and Hart in at 579.
• Welsh was ninth with a score of 578.
• Demi Perez led the women's team with a score of 574 to finish 10^th.
• Douglass finished 12^th with a score of 568.
