How it Happened
- Blair Orr got the match off to a good start for the Bulldogs with a 10-0 major decision at 125 pounds.
- Orr took a 2-0 lead into the second period before a second-period takedown, followed by four near-fall points, helped Orr secure riding time and the major decision.
- George Rosas stepped onto the mat at 133 pounds and immediately got a takedown and two near-fall points.
- He added a takedown in the second period, and two more in the third period on his way to the major decision victory.
- Jacob Silka followed suit with a quick takedown at 141 pounds and rode out the rest of the period on top.
- He added a reversal in the early part of the second period before adding the bonus point for riding time in the 5-1 victory.
- The Bulldogs picked up a victory at 285 pounds and John Chesser controlled the match for the full seven minutes.
- Chesser got a takedown in the first period, then rode out on top in the second period. He quickly got the escape in the third and added another takedown on his way to a 7-0 victory.
