CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel mixed rifle team captured the air rifle team championship on their way to a second place finish at the 2023 Southern Conference Rifle Championships at the Inouye Marksmanship Center.

The Bulldogs won the air rifle competition with a score of 2347, just narrowly beating North Georgia (2346).

The Bulldogs finished second in the overall standings with an aggregate total of 4616.

For the efforts on the range this year, head coach Richie Parra was named the SoCon Coach of the Year.
