CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel mixed rifle team dropped two matches against the Air Force this weekend at the Inouye Marksmanship Center.
 
Saturday Match

• The Air Force defeated The Citadel 4,761-4,625 on Saturday evening.
• James Hart was the top performer for The Citadel, scoring 1174. Hart recorded 590 in the smallbore event and 584 in the air rifle event.
• Charlotte Welsh totaled the second-best results for The Citadel, scoring 1162. Welsh 592 in the air rifle event and 570 in the smallbore event.

 
Sunday Match

• In the women's only match, Meghan Mix was the top finisher for the Bulldogs with a total score of 1115. She recorded a score of 548 in the smallbore and 567 in the air rifle events.
• Deanna Douglas was the top scorer for The Citadel in the smallbore with a score of 553; she finished the day with a total score of 1109.
