CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel mixed rifle team picked up their first victory of the  winter season with a win over VMI with a total score of 4,611-4,598.
 
The women's rifle team for the Bulldogs also picked up their first victory over the Keydets with a score of 4,451-4,432.
 
James Hart was the top individual for the Bulldogs, with a total score of 1177. Hart finished with a score of 589 in the air rifle and 588 in the smallbore events.
 
Charlotte Welsh finished second behind Hart in the individual standings, scoring 1162. Welsh tallied 585 in the air rifle and 577 in the smallbore events.
 
Megan Mix was the top finisher in the women's only event, scoring 1140. She finished with 578 in the air rifle and 562 in the smallbore events.
