BIRMINGHAM, ALA. – Solomon Ghosh claimed the discus title for the third straight year as the Bulldogs saw four top-ten performances in school history and ten all-conference performances.
The men finished with 81 points to finish sixth overall, and the women scored 52 to finish seventh overall.
Solomon Ghosh has captured his third consecutive discus title with a toss of 162-10. He is the first discus thrower since Phillip Johnson from Western Carolina to win three straight titles in Southern Conference history. Johnson completed this feat in 1997, 1998, and 1999.
Stephen Kraeling earned all-conference honors with a second-place finish in the high jump with 6-8.
Jordan Chestnut earned all-conference and all-freshman honors with a PR jump of 6-6 in the high jump, finishing third and earning the eighth spot. He also finished fourth in the triple jump, with a PR of 46-5.5, earning the seventh spot all-time and all-freshman honors.

Mac Strunk, and
Bradlee Jones earned all-conference honors by finishing second with a time of 41.14, earning the eighth spot all-time.
Treonte Newton placed third in the 100m dash with a time of 10.67, earning all-conference honors. He also placed third in the 200 m dash with a time of 21.30, earning all-conference honors.
Mecca Jackson placed second in the 100m with 11.77 to earn all-conference honors. She also finished sixth in the 200m with a time of 25.04.
Bradlee Jones earned all-freshman honors in the 100m dash after finishing in fourth with 10.70.
McConnell Burdette placed seventh in the high jump with a leap of 6-04.00 to earn all-freshman honors.
