CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their first meet of the season at the Buccaneer Open.
On the Men's Side

Carson Diggs finished as the top runner for the Bulldogs, placing 11th overall with a time of 20:19.7
· Graduate transfer
Holden Tutich ran a time of 20:29.6, placing 13th overall.
On the Women's Side
· Freshman
Aubrey Gorin was the top runner on the women's side for the Bulldogs, finishing 14th overall in a time of 20:38.8.
· Freshman
Caroline Plummer was the Bulldogs' second-best performer, finishing 16th with a time of 20:51.3.
"I am proud of our season opener, but even more excited about the positive vibes, energy, and attention to detail," said Head Coach
Marie Domin. "Both the men's and women's teams have set the bar high for the season, but they look ready to handle it! We are looking forward to some key workouts that will prepare us for our races in Charlotte."
