CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The Citadel women's golf program tees off on the 2025-26 campaign with a tournament running Sunday, Sept. 7 through Tuesday, Sept. 9, traveling south to Jekyll Island, Ga., for the Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational at the King & Prince Golf Club.
Anchored by a slew of returning veterans, including notable contributors

Teryn Dalton,
Naomi Huang,
Maggie Parmer and
Sofia Vargas, the Bulldogs set their sights on challenging at the SoCon Championship after enduring a competitive schedule.

Lori Bonacci said. "We have displayed tremendous growth over the past few seasons, and I look forward to another opportunity for this program and these players to showcase our The Citadel brand the right way."
Over the course of 18 seasons managing The Citadel women's golf program, Bonacci has helped the team evolve both on and off the course while also serving as the founder of the annual Oyster Shuck Match Play, the only event hosted by the Bulldogs every year.
Following the season opener at Coastal Georgia, The Citadel battles in tournaments in Spartanburg (Wofford) and Greensboro (UNCG) before wrapping up the fall slate with a local competition run by the College of Charleston on Edisto Island. For the spring, the Bulldogs open the new year by hosting their annual Oyster Shuck Match Play in mid-February before facing three consecutive road tournaments in preparation for the Southern Conference Championship on April 19-22 in West Columbia, S.C.
