ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The Citadel track & field team recorded multiple personal records, one event win and three top 10 marks in program history Saturday at the Sharonda Coleman-Singleton Classic at Lorry H. Dawkins Track.

"I thought it was a solid day for our group," head coach
Kris Kut said after the meet. "We had people compete well in a lot of different events, and it was good to see that consistency throughout the day. There were some strong efforts on both the men's and women's sides, and I think this was another good step for us as we keep working through the outdoor season."
Women's Highlights
- Jadan Dean won the hammer throw with a personal-best toss of 46.07 meters, moving to No. 8 in program history. Dean also placed fourth in the shot put with a personal-best mark of 11.72 meters.
- Liliana Coe cleared a personal-best 3.20 meters in the pole vault to place sixth and move to No. 5 in program history.
- Rachel Reininger placed second in the javelin with a personal-best throw of 35.73 meters, while Samantha Barnes finished third with a mark of 33.79 meters. Ainsley Dowling added a personal-best throw of 28.49 meters to place eighth.
- Danielle Williams posted a personal-best time of 59.89 in the 400 meters to place 10th. She also ran a personal-best 26.79 in the 200 meters.
- Cameron Martin placed eighth in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 1:06.81, moving to No. 4 in program history. She also ran a personal-best 26.98 in the 200 meters.
- Brylee Deering recorded a personal-best time of 2:27.80 in the 800 meters.
- The freshman 4x100-meter relay team of Martin, Coe, Grier Murphy and DeMarie Washington placed third with a time of 52.05.
Men's Highlights
- Ryder Harbough placed second in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:08, followed by Jack Wallace at 4:08.55 and Carson Diggs at 4:11.48.
- Tanner Honeycutt placed third in the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:18.
- Joel Amos placed third in the javelin with a personal-best toss of 53.84 meters, followed by Landon Cloninger in fourth with a personal-best throw of 53.03 meters. Samuel Jordan placed fifth with a mark of 47.53 meters.
- Will Owens placed fourth in the hammer throw with a personal-best toss of 48.10 meters. Jack Weil finished sixth with a mark of 45.99 meters, and Frank Pastorino placed eighth with a throw of 45.36 meters to tie his personal best.
- Trey Bartels placed fifth in the pole vault with a personal-best clearance of 4.20 meters, while Jacob Parker finished sixth at 3.75 meters.
- Daniel Dounian placed fifth in the shot put with a personal-best toss of 13.82 meters.
- Weil placed fifth in the discus with a throw of 42.04 meters, Frank Pastorino finished seventh with a mark of 38.89 meters and Evan Bauer placed ninth with a throw of 38.47 meters.
- Jabraivon Woodard placed eighth in the triple jump with a personal-best mark of 13.43 meters. Langston Bailey finished ninth at 13.34 meters, and AJ Kut posted a personal-best mark of 12.61 meters to place 11th.
- Ryder Harbough placed sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:00.28, while Jack Wallace ran a personal-best 2:01.75 to finish ninth and Carson Diggs placed 10th in 2:01.81.
- Kyan Sapko placed seventh in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 57.64.
The Bulldogs return to action April 24-25 at the Catamount Classic in Cullowhee, N.C.
