CHARLESTON, S.C. – In the wake of the program's first Southern Conference title in over two decades, The Citadel wrestling has accepted an invitation to return for the third consecutive year to the Yorktown III on Saturday, Nov. 7 and Sunday, Nov. 8 as part of the launch of the 2026-27 campaign, acting as the local mainstay for the dual-centric tournament hosted on the flight deck aboard the renowned USS Yorktown CV-10 Essex-class aircraft carrier anchored in the Charleston Harbor.

Tim McCall said. "Competing aboard a historic military ship is a unique experience that reflects the values and traditions we cherish at The Citadel. We're excited to wrestle in front of our supporters and be part of an event that showcases the best of our sport in such a memorable setting."
The Bulldogs will headline the event with a pair of to-be-determined matchups against fellow Division I institutions spread out across two half day sessions on Saturday, Nov. 7 and Sunday, Nov. 8.
