SOPHOMORE (2012-13): Finished the season ninth overall in the conference with an air rifle average of 570.3 ... posted a season-best mark of 579 at SEARC 1 ... carded five air rifle scores of 570 or better.

FRESHMAN (2011-12): Competed in 11 air rifle matches, recording an average of 545.91 … best air rifle score came at the SEARC 6/NCAA Sectional match where he posted a mark of 558 … finished his freshman campaign with a smallbore average of 525.17… best smallbore score came in an open NCAA match against Air Force and Ole Miss where he fired a 536.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of S.C. Connections Academy … earned Eagle Scout honors in the Boy Scouts of America.

PERSONAL: Son of Richard and Cynthia Hunton … majoring in health, exercise and sport science.
